Flavoured Water 5 Ways

We all know that water is good for you – benefits of downing your H20 include:

  • Keeps you regular
  • Flushes out toxins – it’s kind to your kidneys
  • and a whole lot more!

If you’re struggling to get your recommended daily dose of this good stuff, here are some refreshing flavours to get you on your way. They’re super easy to make and super yummy to drink!

Citrus

  • Chop a mix of wedges and slices of orange, grapefruit & lemon

  • Add them to your chosen decanter and fill with filtered water
  • Give it a good stir & serve!

  • Chop a mix of wedges and slices of lemon & lime

  • Add them to your chosen decanter and fill with filtered water
  • Give it a thorough stir, helps the citrus to release their juices
  • Serve with a smile!

  • Chop the strawberries in a mix of halves, quarters & slices
  • Pop them in to your chosen decanter
  • Squish and squash a handful of strawberries with a fork to break them up a bit

  • Add some whole basil leaves to the decanter
  • Clap, slap or spank (!) a handful of basil leaves between your hands. This helps to release the herbs aromatic oils
  • Add them to your chosen decanter
  • Fill with filtered water, give it a stir and serve

Raspberries & mint on a chopping board

  • Pop some whole raspberries in to your chosen decanter
  • Rip, squish and squash a handful of raspberries (bare hands or with a fork) to break them up a bit
  • Add them to the other raspberries chosen decanter
  • Add some whole mint leaves to the decanter
  • Clap, slap or spank (!) a handful of mint leaves between your hands
  • Add these mint leaves to your chosen decanter
  • Fill with filtered water, give it a stir and serve

  • Chop a slices of cucumber
  • Use a peeler to cut off strips of cucumber
  • Add the slices and strips of cucumber to your chosen decanter
  • Fill with filtered water, stir and serve!

Tips & Hints

  • Give your citrus pieces a bit of a squeeze when you’re adding them to your decanter – it helps to release their juices
  • Swap filtered water for soda water
  • Pop your fruit, berries and herbs in the bottom of your chosen decanter and fill with ice. Let the ice melt naturally and serve!
  • Clapping, Slapping or Spanking your herbs will release the aroma & oil – chopping or ripping can bruise and discolour the herbs
  • The longer you leave your ingredients to sit in the water, the more flavourful the water would be
