Girl Crush – Introducing Cassie Mendoza-Jones

November 17, 2014

CASSIE-102

We admit it, we have a Girl Crush on this beauty – Cassie Mendoza-Jones.

A Conscious Beauty’s thoughts on Cassie:

Well what can we say about Cassie? This radiant beauty has been on our crush list for a long time, inspiring us well before A Conscious Beauty was born. Cassie is undoubtedly a force in the wellness world, who respects the needs and desires of the modern women and what it takes to maintain ‘vitality’ in a busy world.

Cassie’s approach to achieving what she terms ‘body harmony’ is supported by a background in Naturopathy, kinesiology, herbal medicine and nutrition – that’s one talented young lady!

We love absolutely love Cassie’s approach, she is on your team, she has your wellbeing at heart and you just have to read her testimonials to know that she is the real deal. Today we are privileged to add Cassie to our list of amazing ‘girl crushes’.

Favourite Finds – Why We’re Loving The Little Alchemist (Part 2)

November 10, 2014

The Little Alchemist

Does an express home facial before a night out sound like you? Or perhaps you might like to spend a Sunday afternoon curled up with a magazine and a face mask?

We couldn’t think of anything more blissful.

After discovering The Little Alchemist we were delighted to bring you the first of our two-part review on her skin cleansing range. Today, we present the second part of our review, in style.

The products have been reviewed in sequence of how we suggest using them to create the ultimate home facial. We suggest incorporating either the Papaya, Geranium & Lime Cleansing Milk or the Wild Apple & Mint Purifying Gel Cleanser to deep-cleanse and remove any make-up before starting your ritual.

Girl Crush – Introducing Nadia Felsch

November 3, 2014

We admit it, we have a Girl Crush on this beauty – Nadia Felsch.

You may recall we recently featured one of Nadia’s amazing recipes – the Kale, Avocado & Quinoa (beauty) salad and today we are excited to dive a little more into the world of this conscious beauty.

A Conscious Beauty’s thoughts on Nadia:

The moment you meet Nadia, you can’t help but be taken by that beautiful smile and warm heart. Ruby was blessed with the opportunity to connect with Nadia through lululemon athletica in Sydney, and from that moment on (and a kale salad or two) the girl crush was born!

A Conscious Beauty agrees – the way in which Nadia interacts with her online community and in person through her events, is all from a very authentic place. She educates from personal experience, sharing about her own relationship with food and the ways she has restored her sense of self-love. Nadia is an inspiring soul, who has taken her new found love and now career to the world.

We are extremely excited to see what the future holds for this beauty. And now from the leading lady herself…

Favourite Finds – Why We’re Loving 100% Pure (take 2!)

October 6, 2014

As we mentioned in our first post for this brand, we were thrilled when Irene from Nourished Life, shared a couple 100% Pure products with us to trial.

A quick summary for those who haven’t seen the first post yet – this wonderful brand is one of our favourite finds as they are quite simply 100% Pure (their brand name may have just given that one away!)

The 100% Pure products are based on antioxidants, are gluten free (where possible) and contain no nasties or unhealthy toxins i.e. artificial colours & fragrances, synthetic chemicals, harsh detergents or chemical preservatives. Add to that, their products are also vegan friendly and not tested on animals. Our type of brand!
