What is so special about this smoothie?

Packed with Vitamin A: the beauty nutrient of the fall; it smooths skin by increasing cell turnover, balances oil production, heals summer sun damage, and boosts immunity before cold season.

The omega 3-rich chia seeds in this smoothie help you absorb every bit of pumpkin’s vitamin A, supporting youthful, glowing, well-hydrated skin.

Makes 4 servings

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup raw pecans
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 frozen banana (peel before freezing)
  • large handful of ice

In a high-powered blender, combine almond milk, water, pumpkin puree, chia seeds and pecans until smooth. Add molasses, spices, salt, banana and ice and process until creamy.
