Meet the Maker – Introducing Rebecca Powell of TLuxe
Meet Rebecca Powell, creator of Sydney-based sustainable clothing line – Tluxe.
The name Tluxe is a clever fusion of Tee Shirt and deluxe. Quite simply, stylish layering pieces and basics that are sustainable but still carry an element of luxury.
Rebecca combines natural fibres including Merino, Organic cotton, bamboo and Cashmere to create everyday pieces that can be easily glammed up for a night out.
Why a Conscious Beauty LOVE’s Rebecca and her brand Tluxe:
Conscious, thoughtful and sustainable clothing feels like the missing piece of the puzzle for me. As I sit here in my lululemon athletica threads, not knowing where in the world, by whom or how they were made – I can’t help but feel that the journey to being a true conscious beauty is beyond Organic food and beauty products.
With this in the back of my mind, the opportunity to get to know Rebecca a little more is rather timely don’t you think?
I was blessed to get to know Tluxe a little more intimately and I can’t wait to reveal the gorgeous images in a few weeks time.
And now from the beauty herself:
Tell us about your brand’s vision:

Must have pieces include “ Hendaye” our Organic cotton oversized shirt.” Portofino,” The perfect Tee, ‘Joanna” double layer pencil tube skirt and “ Sandy lane” the Organic cotton drop crotch pull on pant.
What are you most grateful for in your life?
My two sons, Luka and Jet, they constantly challenge and amaze me!
What has been your greatest ah-ha moment/turning point in your life to date?
Almost loosing my life in a car crash made me appreciate the fragility of life. Life needs to be lived in the moment!
How do you live consciously? / Any tips for living consciously?
I’m aware of consumption and choose anything I buy wisely, shopping for groceries at the local growers market and supporting independent, local and sustainable businesses.
